Swindlers kill man for Rs2,500

FAISALABAD: Unidentified swindlers killed a man here on Thursday. Abdur Rehman, a resident of Shadab Colony, Jhang Road, was strolling on a footpath when the swindlers intoxicated him. When he fell unconscious, the accused took away Rs2,500 from his pocket and escaped. After remaining unconscious for a considerable time, the victim died.
THREE DEAD ON ROAD: Ghulam Sarwar, a truck driver, and his son Muzamil, residents of Roshanwali Basti, Samundri Road, were killed when their truck turned turtle on a road. In the second incident, mobile phone company security guard Hamidullah Niazi of Chak 468/JB was on way home when a rickshaw collided with his bike on Susan Road, Madina Town. He was killed on the spot.
