MINGORA: The lawyers on Wednesday boycotted courts proceedings across Malakand division against the registration of cases against 13 participants of a protest in Swat a few days ago.
The High Court Bar Association had given the call for boycott of the courts proceedings.
The lawyers in Malakand, Lower and Upper Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner and Chitral districts stayed away from courts. The lawyers said that peaceful protest was the right of every citizen.
They demanded the district administration to quash forthwith the cases against the protesters.
