NAB launches probe against Durrani for illegal allotment of plots
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Housing and Works Akram Khan Durrani came under the radar of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) which launched inquiry against him for alleged irregularities and misuse of power for illegal allotment of plots in Sectors 1-12 and 1-16 to his favourites.
NAB Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal ordered the inquiry against Minister for Housing and Works Akram Khan Durrani for irregularities and misuse of power in allotment of plots on the land of Pakistan Housing Authority at Kurri Road I-12 and I-16 to his favourites that caused a billion of rupees to national exchequer.
Akram Khan Durrani, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa former chief minister and currently Minister for Housing and Works, belongs to JUI-F and close aide of party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
