Any misadventure by India to be given befitting reply: Khurram
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan has said that any misadventure by India would be given befitting response.
India was establishing cantonments and air-bases along the Line of Control (LoC), he said while talking to a private news channel. Pakistan Armed forces were fully capable to defend the mother land, he said, adding India was working on "cold start doctrine".
He said that India had lost the opportunity of dialogue with Pakistan. In 2017, India had made ceasefire violations along LoC, he added.
Since 2015, Pakistan had intensified activities to wipe out the terrorism from this region. Operation "Raddul Fasaad" was also continuing unabatedly, he added.
To a question he said, "We want to provide complete peace to the next generation of Pakistan.”
To another question he said we had expressed reservation over increasing strategic partnership of US with India.
The minister said that Pakistan had taken serious steps to flush out terrorism. He appreciated China for helping Pakistan in eliminating terrorism, and power loadshedding.
Replying to a question he said that all the institutions should work under their domain.
Khurram Dastgir said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) would continue work for sanctity of vote in the country.
