Killer husband arrested from Islamabad Airport

NOWSHERA: A man was arrested at Islamabad Airport while trying to flee abroad after killing his wife in Akora Khattak.

The sources said that Ijaz had allegedly killed his wife, identified as Saiqa, at Akora Khattak a week ago.

The first information report was lodged by Bibi Roza, wife of Muhammad Ali against Ijaz, his brother Bacha and his father Azad Khan.

District Police Officer Nowshera Qasim Ali Khan told journalists that Ijaz was trying to flee to Saudi Arabia when he was arrested while boarding the Saudi Airline.

The sources said the accused had killed his wife in the name of honour. They said that Saiqa had eloped with someone when her husband was working in Saudi Arabia.
