Senate elections

Since the Senate elections are round the corner, rumours of horse trading are up in the air. Millions are being spent to buy the house’s seats. Are we not making a mockery of democracy?

How can these extravagant members of parliament represent the poor who do not have enough money to buy food or medicines for their children? It is the responsibility of both the electronic and print media to play its role to discourage this practice.
