A league for the young
When the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the launch of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), cricket lovers and sport analysts welcomed the decision. This is because such leagues help young players to play along with senior and experienced players, and polish their skills. The PSL is providing a platform to young players to play against strong opponents. This will train a player to perform even better in an international match.
The league also provides young cricketers a viable opportunity to earn a decent amount of money. In the past, many players had to quit playing domestic cricket and apply for other jobs because they couldn’t earn enough money to support their families. The PCB has taken a positive initiative to groom young players for international matches.
