RAWALPINDI: Abdullah Aftab cruised into the final of Major Ishaq Shaheed Twin Cities Tennis Championship by beating Ali Zubair in a marathon match at Sirajul Haq Tennis Club in Westridge here Friday.
Abdullah won 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to earn a place in the decider where he will meet Abdullah Shafqat who got better of Nazik Khan 6-2, 6-3 in the second semi-final. Abdullah Shafqat also reached the final of boys’ Under-18 as he defeated Hassam 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-final.In the other Under-18 semi-final, Ali Zubair beat Waleed Qureshi in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
