DASKA: A youth was injured during a Mehndi function at Ranjhi village on Saturday.
A Mehndi function was going on when the function’s guests started aerial firing. In the meantime, a bullet hit Amanullah. As a result, he was seriously injured.
2 BIKES STOLEN: Thieves stole two motorcycles here on Saturday.
Usman Ali and Muhammad Ashfaq parked their motorcycles outside the PTCL Office. When they returned, they found them missing.
7 HELD WITH ARMS: Bombanwala police on Saturday arrested seven people and recovered illegal arms from their possession.
The police raided and arrested Muhammad Tasneem, Asif, Muhammad Zaman, Abid, Umar and Nawaz and recovered three pistols, two rifles and bullets from them.
4 DRUNKARDS HELD: Bombanwala police on Saturday arrested four drunkards.
The police raided and arrested Zaman Ali, Abid, Muhammad and Muhammad Nawaz when they were making noise after drinking wine.
MAN BOOKED: Bombanwala police on Saturday booked an unidentified man for demanding extortion from a man.
Asad filed an application that an unidentified accused called him and demanded Rs 2 million extortion from him. The complainant told the police that the accused threatened him that if did not pay the amount, he would kill his nephews. The police have registered a case.
