Completion of development schemes in NA-50 stressed

Rawalpindi: Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tallat Mehmood has directed to complete development schemes of NA-50 while giving preference to the health, education, infrastructure and construction of roads.

He also ordered removal of saw machines which are illegally installed in the forests of Kotli Sattyian and make sure that there is no such machine in the radius of 05 Km of the forests. While reviewing the detailed report presented by all departments regarding progress in development schemes in NA-50 at Deputy Commissioner Office Rawalpindi, Tallat Mehmood Gondal said that along-with the maintenance and repair of roads; updated report of THQs, BHU and dispensaries should be presented to the committee at earliest.

He said that 33 schemes of water supply have been completed while work was in progress on 04 schemes which needs to be completed swiftly and further directed to highlight the points of clean drinking water in Kotli Sattyian. Moreover, he said that Punjab Highways has also been directed to repair 24 roads in NA-50 at preference basis.
