Kick Boxing arena inaugurated
LAHORE: Director Sports Muhammad Anees Sheikh inaugurated Kick Boxing Arena at Punjab Stadium on Thursday.
President Pakistan Kick Boxing Federation (PKBF) Syed Sheharyar Ali, Vice-President PKBF Syed Abid Ali, Secretary General PKBF Tahir Abbas and a large number of kick boxing enthusiasts were also present in the inaugural ceremony. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Director Sports Muhammad Anees Sheikh said Sports Board Punjab always extended every kind of support for the promotion of sports in the province.
Director Sports Anees Sheikh also welcomed the role of private sector for the establishment of boxing arena. “The sports culture in our country will grow more rapidly if private sector realized its responsibility,” he opined.
Young kick boxers Umer Farooq, Ejaz, Fiaz, Naimatullah, Tanveer Ahmed, Zaib Hasan, Bilal Rafi, Tauqeer Humayun, Urooj Tauqeer, Atif Waqas, Rizwan, Ali Raza played exhibition kick boxing matches on this occasion.
