Party leaders of different political parties claim that a successful political gathering can be gauged by how many people are in their favour. But is it prudent to determine one’s popularity basedon one or two successful political rallies?
The total number of attendees at a political rally has nothing to do with election results. Some people take part in a rally for fun. If the power of people and their choice of public leaders can be decided by processions on the road or in the parks, why do we need elections?
