Iqra varsity holds informative session
ISLAMABAD: Iqra University (IU) here Tuesday hosted a ‘Talk World’ session with Ambassador of Romania Niculaie Goia on the premises of Islamabad campus, says a press release.
Goia enlightened the students and faculty on the historical and cultural roots of Romania and gave an insightful presentation on Romania from an international perspective.
Goia focused on the relations between the two countries by giving high regard to Pakistan on fighting against terrorism. The envoy also appreciated the education system in Pakistan and the business opportunities for local residents in the country.
He also talked about fulfilling the goal of imparting industry-based knowledge to the university students and make them aware of tourism, educational and work opportunities in Romania.
Prior to his presentation, the envoy had a detailed meeting with IU Dean/Director Dr Muhammad Islam, who termed the session informative and announced collaboration in student and faculty exchange programmes.
