LAHORE: Punjab University won four gold medals in Inter-Inter-University Women Cycling Championship which got under way here at the Lahore velodrome Wednesday. In all eight universities from all over the Pakistan are taking part in this Championship. The chief guest of opening ceremony was Idris Haider Khawaja, President Pakistan Cycling Federation.
Results: 500m final: Razia Hanif, Punjab, 1st; Zainab, Sargodha, 2nd; Sheeza, BZU,3rd. 1000m sprint final: Razia Hanif, Punjab, 1st ,Sheeza, BZU, 2nd, Sadaf, LCWU 3rd.
3km individual pursuit final: Naila, Punjab, 1st,Mehwish, BZU, 2nd,
Zainab, Sargodha, 3rd. Team sprint final: Razia Hanif, Asia, Naila (Punjab) 1st, Amara, Feroza, Sadaf (LCWU) 2nd, Gulfroz, Mehwish, Sheeza, BZU, 3rd.
