Biker dies, two hurt in accident

TOBA TEK SINGH: A motorcyclist was killed while two others sustained injuries in an accident on Gojra-Mochi Wala Road on Monday night. Muhammad Abid of Hasnia Colony, Gojra, his wife Ayesha and minor son Zeeshan were on their way by a bike when a speeding car hit them. As a result, Abid died on the spot while two others sustained injuries and rushed to a hospital. Meanwhile, Abdullah, Ahmad and Saad were injured when a tractor-trolley hit their bike near Fruit and Vegetable Market.

Man robbed: A man was deprived of Rs100,000 at Pirmahal on Tuesday. Four bandits intercepted Mukhtar Ahmad Chohan of Durrabad Basti on Pirmahal-Abdul Hakeem Road when he was returning to his village after drawing Rs100,000 from a bank. The dacoits deprived him of the amount and also tortured him when he put up resistance.
