Four sisters injured in acid attack

SIALKOT: Unidentified persons on Tuesday threw acid on four sisters, leaving one of them critically injured in Bonkan locality, in the jurisdiction of Muradpur Police Station, Rescue 1122 said. According to police, some unknown persons stormed into a house and threw acid on four sisters and injured them. As a result, Afshan (20) suffered critical injuries while Amina (8), Jannat (6) and Ayesha (7) received minor injuries.
After committing crime, the attackers fled the scene. Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and brought the injured to hospital. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
