Horse-trading against democratic norms: Sarwar
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee member and senate candidate from Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said horse-trading in senate polls is out of question and the PTI will win it through democratic process.
Talking to the media outside Election Commission office after filing nomination papers, Sarwar was raising voice against corruption. Terming horse-trading as murder of democracy, Sarwar said that he had always defeated rivals through democratic means and would also reach senate after following the same principle. He added after becoming a senator, he would raise voice for underprivileged and disenfranchised people of Pakistan.
PTI MPAs in Punjab Assembly including Opposition leader Mian Mehmood ul Rasheed, Sibtain Khan, Dr Nosheen Hamid and others were also present on the occasion.
