LAHORE : The Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) on Saturday challenged the nomination papers of Prime Minister Shahid Khan Abbassi’s sister Sadia Abbasi for Senate elections.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid and Andleeb Abbas challenged Sadia’s nomination papers before RO Sharifullah. In the plea before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), they said Sadia had not submitted her asset details, therefore, her nomination papers should be rejected. The PTI leaders alleged that Sadia had dual nationality and she had also not provided details in most of the columns of the form.
