Football league trophy unveiled at Bara Press Club

BARA: The Afridi Football League (AFL) trophy unveiling ceremony was arranged at the Bara Press Club on Monday.
Sponsors and players of the event attended the ceremony. Speaking at a gathering, an organiser Fazal Amin Afridi said that a total of 8 teams of the eight Afridi tribes would be taking part in the league.
He said that the prolonged militancy had halted sports activities and ruined their educational, health sectors in Khyber Agency.He added that an atmosphere of peace and tranquility had been restored in Fata as sports would bring happiness to the tribal people.He said the winner team would be awarded Rs40,000 and the runner-up team Rs20,000 cash prizes.
