GHALLANAI: A public meeting arranged here on Sunday by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Mohmand Agency chapter demanded immediate merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mainstream the tribal region.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf local chapter had arranged a public meeting at Chandah area of Haleemzai Tehsil of the Mohmand Agency. Sajid Khan Mohmand, Mohmand Agency chapter chief of the PTI, had organized the function.
A number of the party leaders and workers attended the prorgramme. KP Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser was the special guest speaker.
The speakers accused the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif of keeping KP, Balochistan and Fata deprived of development.
They demanded steps to improve health and education sectors, constructing dams and resumption of cell phone service in Fata.
