Trainings to promote IPR issues
ISLAMABAD: The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) and National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) will organise training sessions and provide technical support on filing patent applications, a statement said on Thursday.
The objective to promote intellectual property rights (IPR) in Pakistan was decided during a meeting between IPO-Pakistan Director General Muhammad Irfan Tarar and NESCOM DG Projects Dr Rizwan Hussain at IPO-Pakistan head office.
IPO-Pakistan DG apprised NESCOM officials about the working and achievements of IPO for creating awareness about IPRs in the country.
NESCOM DG appreciated the role of IPO-Pakistan in creating awareness about IPRs in recent years. The first workshop would be held on February 14, 2018 at NESCOM Islamabad.
