‘Huma: The Legendary Bird’ on display
LAHORE 'Huma: The Legendary Bird' an exhibition of spellbinding paintings by Mrs Huma Wasiq, a renowned artist of nature, was inaugurated at the Ocean Art Gallery, Raja Market, Main Gulberg, on Wednesday. The exhibition is a rare feast for the eyes of the artists and the art lovers, as well as the general public alike.
The panorama of colours of the birds of heaven has been skillfully transformed on the canvas by Huma Wasiq, which is not only a glowing testimony to her rich artistic horizon but also a very refreshing experience for the eyes of the viewers who have been, lately, deprived of the nature's best blessings, including the colourful birds, due to the mushrooming growth of the housing schemes which have swallowed the natural habitat of the humming birds and deprived us all of their soothing chattering.
