Workshop on talent management and skills development held

Islamabad: One day workshop titled ‘National Youth Conference on Talent Management and Development Skills to Shape Careers,’ was held at National Council of Social Welfare (NCSW), says a press release.

NCSW Chairman Dr. Nadeem Shafiq Malik chaired the event while Azher Ali Chaudhry, Secretary CA&DD, was the chief guest. Colleges and universities students and a large number of youth attended this event.

NCSW chairman, during his speech said that youth had played a significant role in the creation of Pakistan. The Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had always reposed great trust in the young people. Pakistani youth is brimming with ambition, enthusiasm and commitment to rise to acquire the goals. We need to invest more in their skills and mold their ideas into new products, services and successful business that will benefit us all. Pakistan’s population is increasing day by day. The National Youth Policy has been prepared to mainstream the youth, harness the talent and energies of youth and address the challenges being confronted by today’s youth. Efforts have been made to build on the existing programmes.

Azher Ali Chaudhry, secretary Capital Administration & Development Division, during his speech said that given the importance of youth to Pakistan’s future development, it is imperative to endow them with better means and environment in which this invaluable human resource which attains the optimal growth potential, equipped with the requisite character strength and motivation to participate in the mainstream of the practical life.
