MANSEHRA: Al-Khidmat Foundation would install water filtration plants in all 59 union councils to address scarcity of potable water in the district, a Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) leader said on Tuesday.
"Mansehra is under severe crisis of potable water and in view to this we are going to install water filtration plant in the city, which would cater to the need of residents of four urban union councils here," Dr Tariq Sherazi, the district deputy head of JI, told a gathering held here in connection with the ground-breaking of the project here. Tehsil Nazim Khurram Khan Swati laid the foundation of plant. Dr Sherazi said that Al-Khidmat Foundation would shortly install water filtration plants across the district.
