Addressing the protester, the speakers said that Naqeebullah was killed on January 13 in a fake police encounter by SSP Rao Anwar in Shah Latif Town. The participants of the demonstration alleged that Pakhtuns were being killed in Karachi in fake encounters.

They added that hundreds of Pakhtun's were killed in Karachi by the police after being dubbed terrorists. They added that Karachi police had killed 317 Pakhtuns in 97 fake police encounters in the last few months. The participants demanded immediate arrest of Rao Anwar and others.
