KARACHI: The board of directors of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) has been reconstituted, a statement said on Tuesday.
Now the board consists of four independent directors, Moin M Fudda, Syed Masoud Ali Naqvi, Syed Majid Ali and Aqeel Ahmed Nasir and six directors, representing shareholding institutions Dr Aamir Matin, Abid Ali Habib, Farid Malik, Muhammad Tariq Rafi, Shahnawaz Mahmood, Shehzad Chamdia and Chief Executive Officer Aftab Ahmed Diwan.
Later, the board in its meeting held on January 18 unanimously elected Fudda as the chairman of the CDC board of directors and commended the services of the outgoing directors Husain Lawai, Ahsan Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Yasin Lakhani and Shahid Ghaffar for the development and success of the company, it added.
