LHWs protest attack on anti-polio team

CHARSADDA: Lady Health Workers (LHWs) staged a protest outside the Charsadda Press Club here on Monday against the attack on an anti-polio team members in Quetta.
The protesters chanted slogans against the government for failing to provide security to the anti-polio team.Speaking to the LHWs, provincial vice president of the association Samina Naeem and district president Neelofar said the government had not made proper security arrangements for the anti-polio team.
They believed untrained personnel were deputed for the security duty of these teams.The protesters demanded the government to give Shuhada package to families of the two female polio workers who were shot dead in Quetta four days ago.
