Cold, dry spell

LAHORE : Dry weather continued to persist in the city on Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

The Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country. However, rain with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob and Kalat divisions. No rainfall was recorded anywhere across the country. Met officials said Sunday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped down to -09°C while in Lahore maximum temperature was 24°C, lowest was 6.7°C and humidity level was 21 per cent.
