Wapda clinch 11 gold medals

LAHORE: Wapda won 11 gold medals in 1st National Belt Wrestling Championship that was held at Gymnasium Hall of Sports Board Punjab.
Wapda females had five and males got six gold medals in this opne day championship. Secretary Punjab Olympic Association Idris Haider Kh inaugurated the championship. In eight categories, Wapda male players also won one bronze medal. Punjab was second in men’s event and Railways was third. In females category, Army won three silver and a bronze medal followed by KPK at third place and Punjab and fourth. Later Pakistan Olympic Association secretary Khalid Mahmood distributed prizes among the winners.
