Water-stressed capital
January 21, 2018
Provision of basic facilities to citizens is one of the basic responsibilities of the government. But we live in such a society where no government is interested in addressing the problems faced by citizens. In fact, the capital city of the country has not been able to tackle the problem of acute water shortage. Residents are forced to install borewells inside their houses.
As long as exploitation, accumulation of ill-gotten wealth, misappropriation of public funds by those in charge of governance continues, people will remain deprived of their fundamental human rights.
