LAHORE: Pakistan despite facing multifarious problems and debacles will surely be able to overcome the problems if entire nation narrowing their differences stands together to face internal and external adversaries, said Agha Saleh, the goodwill ambassador of New York and member of the New York City Community Board.

Speaking at a gathering of lawyers hosted by the Lahore High Court Bar Association here on Friday, he said, “If we are united, no one can harm us. We would build our country if our enemies could not buy us to implement their ulterior designs." Commenting on the recent anti-Pakistan statement of US President Donald Trump, he said Pakistan bravely accepted the challenge of Trump and it could undo any nefarious design of any adversary whether it was America or India. Saleh said the lawyers had a major role and responsibility for establishing justice in society. He said corruption, bribery, misappropriation of public money had to be rooted out to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and social injustice from Pakistan. He urged the Pakistani people to stop draining their assets to foreign countries and invest them in their own land.
