Islamabad: The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE)has planned to carry out development activities at the capital city’s government colleges, especially those for girls, to offer more and more admissions. The development activities, according to an official in the know, will include the construction of new classrooms and provision of furniture, equipment and other facilities. All Islamabad government schools and colleges totalling more than 400 work under the administrative control of the FDE.
The official said the directorate recently established two new colleges for girls in the city, one in I-8/3 sector and the other in I-14/3 sector, while civil work at two in Kothatial and Sihala areas, one for boys and other for girls, was near completion.
