LAHORE: The Punjab Baseball Association (PBA) has expressed its deep sorrow over the sad demise of Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) president Syed Khawar Shah.In condolence message said PBA president Syed Shaharyar Ali, treasurer and other officials and players were shocked over his death and prayed that May Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile Secretary Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) Idris Haider Khawaja said on Thursday that PbOA has arranged Quran Khawani for late Syed Khawar Shah. He further said in order to pay homage to the deceased, the PbOA will arrange a condolence meeting on January 20 (Saturday) in the office of PbOA. As per programme, Quran khawni will be held at 3.00 pm on January 20 to be followed by Dua after Asr prayers. Idris Khawaja paid rich tributes to Khawar for his meritorious services in sports and baseball in particular.
