Statements of 57 accused recorded in Mashal murder case

HARIPUR: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) judge Fazal-e-Subhan Khan here on recorded the statements of all 57 accused in Mashal Khan lynching case here on Thursday.
The ATC, which started recording the testimonies of all the accused from Tuesday, completed their statements after three consecutive hearings in presence of counsels from both sides at the Central Prison Haripur.
According to sources, all the accused in Mashal Khan murder case plead innocent while recording their statements before the ATC.
Mashal Khan, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University, was lynched by angry mob over blasphemy charges on April 13, 2017. The court later adjourned the hearing till January 20.
