PESHAWAR: Former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Barrister Sultan Mehmood called on Chief Minister Pervez Khattak here on Thursday.
He remained with the chief minister for some time and discussed with him a number of national and regional issues, besides the matters relating to the welfare of Kashmiri brethren living in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Barrister Sultan Mehmood also appreciated the bulk reforms and legislation in various sectors of the province.
The chief minister assured proper steps of the KP government for resolving the civic problems faced by the Kashmiri brethren in various parts of the province including Peshawar, Abbottabad, Shinkiari Mansehra and Matta in Swat.
He also issued on the spot directives to the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar in respect of the land arrangement for graveyard of Kashmiris in Peshawar to solve their long standing problems.
