MARDAN: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak visited the residence of four-year old girl Asma who was murdered by unidentified persons a few days back.
The chief minister expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. Provincial Minister for Education Muhammad Atif Khan, local MPAs Iftikhar Mashwani, Zahid Durrani, IGP Salahudin Mahsud, officers of district administration, police and local elite were also present on the occasion.
Notable of the local committee and elite of the area told the chief minister that though it was a gruesome incident, they would not allow anyone to politicise it. Pervez Khattak condemned the incident and said that the killers would be brought to justice. He hoped that the police would maintain its glorious traditions and would search out the heartless killers to give them exemplary punishment. The chief minister assured financial assistance to the affected family.
