KCCA Zone VI become Karachi Region champions

KARACHI: KCCA Zone VI won the PCB Regional Inter District Under-19 One-day Cricket Tournament, Karachi Region, when they beat Zone V by 156 runs here at Landhi Gymkhana Ground.

Zone VI batted first and put on board 266-9 in 50 overs. Usman Rahim scored 126. Muhammad Junaid contributed 53. Aarish Ali picked five wickets. Zone V were all out for a paltry total of 110 in 31.2 overs. Ahsan Ullah top scored for the side with 34 runs. Muaz bin Salman and Badar Qureshi picked four wickets each for the winners.
