Bukhari, Asim reach Malaysian Tour No-1 semis

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ali Shah Bukhari and Asim Khan reached the semi-finals of the $5000 Malaysian Tour No-1 at Seri Menanti, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on Wednesday. Ali thrashed qualifier Guhan Senthilkumar from India 11-9, 11-6, 11-6 in 29 minutes and seventh seed Asim stunned top seed Addeen Idrakie from Malaysia 11-7, 12-10, 7-11, 14-12 in 76 minutes in the quarter-finals.Asim is up against third seed Abhay Singh from India and Ali will play against Muhd Hannan from Malaysia who has got a wild card.
