Exempt from scrutiny
January 18, 2018
Young Intezar Ahmed was shot dead in Karachi. His crime: he didn’t stop for police checking. The boy was studying in Malaysia and came to the city during holidays. That the boy will be killed by people who are responsible for the protection of citizens is worrisome.
Since he didn’t stop for checking, the police assumed that he is the suspect they had been looking for. In order to stop the car, why didn’t the police shoot the tyres? The grief-stricken family of the young boy is waiting for justice. Those who are responsible for Intezar’s murder should be punished.
