LAHORE:Dry weather continued to prevail in the city on Tuesday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that continental air was prevailing over most plains of the country. However, they said, a shallow westerly wave is likely to enter northern parts and its adjoining areas on Tuesday night and might persist for the next 24 hours. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country.
However, light rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. No rainfall was recorded at any city across the country. Tuesday’s lowest temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dipped to -08°C. In Lahore, maximum temperature was 21°C and minimum 5°C while humidity level was 31 percent.
