ISLAMABAD: Central Zone survived a scare as they managed close 17-run victory against Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) in Islamabad Inter-District Under-19 match at the Diamond Ground here Tuesday.
Sajjid Raza (3-25) and Shafqatullah (3-34) combined in to bowl out Central Zone for 164 with Irfan Khan emerging as top scorer.In reply, Gilgit-Baltistan were restricted to 147 with Mahaish Abbas (52) turning out to be the top-scorer. Haroon Khalid (5-16) ran through Gilgit-Baltistan batting line-up.

West Zone 134 all out in 39.3 overs (Mohammad Usman 42; Mohammad Owais 4-23, Harris Hasan 4-37). East Zone 138-6 in 41.1 overs (Muntazir Ali Shah 45 not out; Syed Ibrahim 2-28).
