LAHORE: Dry weather was observed in the city on Friday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air was likely to prevail over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. They said very cold weather was likely in the Northern Areas, including Quetta division. Foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.
No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the country. Friday’s lowest temperature was recorded in Gilgit, Skardu, Astore, Hunza and Gupis where mercury dipped to -07 °C. In Lahore, maximum temperature was 22°C and minimum 7.3°C. Humidity level was 33 percent.
