Boy killed as rivals trade fire in Dir

DIR: A child was killed and three people, including a woman, were injured in an exchange of fire between the two rival groups in Seratai area in Upper Dir district on Friday, police and locals said. Dir Police Station House Officer Mazoom Khan said there was a land dispute between the two groups and the clash occurred early in the day. He added that an eight-year-old- child, Talha, was killed and three people including a woman sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dir. The locals said the exchange of fire continued for more than two hours.
