PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Thursday approved 32 projects worth Rs20599.115 million.
Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Shahzad Khan Bangash presided over the meeting, said a handout. The forum considered 36 projects pertaining to different sectors including Agriculture, Forestry, Health, MSD, Sports, Auqaf, Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, Water, Road and Bridges, Urban Development, DWSS, Housing and Local Government for the uplift of the province.
It approved 32 projects and deferred four schemes due to inadequate design. The approved projects included “establishment of pet clinics at divisional headquarters (Agriculture sector), zoo for Peshawar Division” (Forestry sector), BHU at Koz Shammal UC Battera, Buner and Shahidan Banda in Tehsil Takht Nusrati and BHU at Mandawa UC Latambar, Karak as well as at Kifayat Kot Gohar Ka Nar Dillasah, Bannu; Establishment of Kohat Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS).
