KARACHI: Zone VI overpowered Zone II by 26 runs and later thrashed Zone III by eight wickets in the Regional Inter-District Under-19 One Day Cricket Tournament.At TMC ground, Zone VI batted first and posted 214 all out in 48.5 overs. Usman Rahim batted well for the side, scoring 70 runs. Waqas Khan and Nadir Shah picked three wickets each. Zone II were bundled out for 188 in 47.1 overs. Muhammad Sufiyan scored 50. Muaz bin Salman picked four wickets, while Tariq Khan and Muhammad Mustafa took three wickets each.At KCCA Stadium, Zone VI bowled Zone III out for a paltry total of 70 in 24.3 overs. Muhammad Mustafa captured five wickets. Zone-VI easily reached the target in 8.2 overs with eight wickets in hands.
