PUNJAB Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has expressed determination to eliminate the energy crisis for the rapid development of the country. He said the completion of the energy projects expeditiously was our mission and we were marching forward seriously for overcoming the energy crisis.
He expressed these views while addressing a high level meeting to review steps regarding the progress on the energy projects. He said that all-out resources were being utilised for the completion of the energy projects speedily.
He said the overcoming energy crisis was vital for the development projects. The chief minister said that every effort was being made for coping with the energy crisis. He said the energy projects would have to be completed at every cost for the progress and prosperity of the country and all-out resources would be provided for the execution of the energy projects.
The meeting discussed various proposals for setting up of the Punjab Energy Projects Development Fund. MPA Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, Shaukat Tareen, Chairman Planning and Development, Additional Chief Secretary Energy, Secretary Finance, President Bank of Punjab and senior officials of various banks attended the meeting.
