NAB seeks APNS help for drive against corruption

Islamabad: The newspapers are the best source to spread the anti-corruption message to people at large throughout the country and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has proposed to All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) to joins hands with it and print the message ‘Say No to Corruption’ on top of the first page of all the newspapers, says a press release.
On the directions of NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, NAB has started ‘Awareness and Prevention’ campaign besides enforcement to curb corruption and corrupt practices as it has been mandated under section 33C of National Accountability Ordinance 1999 to educate and advise public authorities, holders of public office and the community at large on measures to combat corruption and corrupt practices.
NAB has requested APNS and newspapers to print NAB message ‘Say No to Corruption’ to join hands with NAB in this national cause.
