KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC), conducting a terrorism trial against former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Saleem Shahzad and others, on Thursday granted Shahzad permission to go abroad for a ten-day medical treatment. Earlier, Saleem Shahzad filed an application and prayed to the court to grant him permission for medical treatment in London. He pointed out that he was under treatment in London due to the nature of his illness (cancer). The court said that he was allowed to go abroad till January 15.
