RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistani civilians were on Thursday injured as Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing at the Working Boundary. The incident took place near Zafarwal Sector. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Pakistan Army gave a befitting reply which killed one Indian soldier. In retaliation, Pakistan Army targeted an Indian post killing one Indian army soldier and injuring two. The post was neutralized, added ISPR. It is worth mentioning here that over 50 Pakistanis were martyred and hundreds wounded in cross border ceasefire violations across Line of Control (LoC) by Indian forces in 2017, according to a report. Indian troops opened fire at LoC in Azad Kashmir at least 1,300 times in 2017 at Neelaum, Nakiyal, Bhimber and Chowkathi sectors. The aggressive forces martyred at least 52 innocent citizens and 257 were injured.
