21 rifles, 16,000 rounds seized in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The police on Friday foiled a bid to smuggle 21 rifles and 16,000 rounds during an action at Sefan in Badaber town on Friday. Badaber Police Station in-charge Shehryar Khan said acting on a tip- off, the cops signaled a truck to stop and recovered 21 rifles, including Kalakovs and AK-47, from it. He added that 16,000 rounds were also recovered from the vehicle. The official said the driver and helper were arrested and a case was registered.
